Study of local states and phase composition of magnetic nanocomposite metal-insulator films (FeCoZr-Al2O3, FeCoZr-PZT, FeCoZr-CaF2); of 3d-metal — Ag, Au nanopowders; 3d — Pt, Pd thin multilayered films; metallic nanorod and nanowires; carbon nanotubes. Experimental techniques: Mossbauer spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, transmission electron microscopy (including high-resolution mode), scanning electron microscopy, X-ray absorption spectroscopy (EXAFS, XANES).
  2. Magnetic properties (exchange interaction, superparamagnetic relaxation, magnetic anisotropy) of nanostructured materials (thin films, composites, nanoparticles with «core-shell» structure; metallic nanorod and nanowires; carbon nanotubes).
    Experimental techniques: vibrating sample magnetometry, SQUID magnetometry, Mossbauer spectroscopy.
