Main scientific results by scientists of INP BSU in 2016 in the field of applied scientific research
- Upper limit of impact of scintillator crystal structure on development of electromagnetic shower was estimated in comparison with amorphous substance. The estimation was performed using Geant4 software by modifying the processes of electron-positron pairs birth and emission of gamma rays by electrons and positrons in consideration that all particles move along the main axis of crystal. If crystal defects are taken into account in Geant4, then the peak of electromagnetic shower in PWO ECAL cell deviates by 2.3 radiation lengths and 4 radiation lengths for energies 0.1 and 1 TeV respectively.
- Elliptic superconducting niobium resonators were fixed (the welding flanges was finished, the inner surface was polished), after what they were tuned and checked. They will be used as accelerating sections for International linear collider. Maximum value of busy Q-factor of resonator was measured for the first time resulting 2,8•109 at absolute concertion of resonator with microwave tract: Standing wave ratio = 1.0000.
- In the framework of participation in planning of NICA project (JINR, Dubna) a series of electronic units and integrated circuits were developed for MPD system, guidance of development and manufacturing of construction elements was provided.
- A technology of magnetic functionalisation of “twisted” type CVD graphene was developed by electrochemical осаждения of clusters of nanoparticles with структурой «nucleus-оболочка», designed for creation of composite layered nanostructures for development of new hybrid devices, which are sensitive to magnetic field.
