spin International Scientific Project
"Multi-layered sandwich graphene devices"

We congratulate Laboratory of electrodynamics of nonhomogeneous mediums of INP with outstanding scientific results:

International research project "Multi-layered sandwich graphene devices" , headed by Prof. Philippe Lambin (University of Namur, Belgium), was among the winners of the prestigious scientific competition of the European Science Foundation "Graphene Flagship".

Between 218 projects submitted for the competition, only 21 ones were selected for funding.

The team of researchers of the Research Institute for Nuclear Problems of Belarusian State University, headed by the Director S.A. Maksimenko and head of lab P.P. Kuzhir is the only Belarusian scientific team, who won in this competition.

In addition to significant financial contribution, the project will bring to INP and BSU as a whole an invaluable experience in scientific cooperation in one of the most prestigious trend of modern nanoscience and nanotechnology associated with the study and application of graphene structures.

The main mission of the Graphene Flagship is to take graphene and related layered materials from academic laboratories to society, revolutionise multiple industries and create economic growth and new jobs in Europe.

As a result of the competition, community of researchers, joint by the program "Graphene Flagship", is significantly expanded and now includes 140 organizations from 23 countries, including the Belarusian State University.

We propose Press Release of the Program "Graphene Flagship", Selected quotes by the EC and GF leadership and Consortium and Partners of the Competitive Call .
